Travel Apps That Meet Travelers’ Realities: Timely, Utilitarian, Relevant

Chief Visibility officer Vanessa Horwell is quoted extensively in Mobile Commerce Daily’s coverage of a new mobile app from Turkish Airlines. According to the developer and airline, the app allows users to “view offers from the airline, purchase tickets, check in, store mobile boarding passes to a passbook, choose seats, order meals, access their flight status and track baggage.”

It’s another sign that travelers (and all consumers) are increasingly relying on mobile devices for everyday transactions and interactions, and they want mobile/digital experiences that are seamless, helpful and successful.
